Lipoedema is a condition that was, until recently, little understood. Here at Talk Lipoedema, we want to create a community where people with lipoedema, and their loved ones, can learn about the condition, share knowledge, and reframe life’s journey into one full of hope and possibilities. Our vision is for people everywhere to have access to information and care so that no one has to go through life with lipoedema not knowing what’s happening. We can’t achieve our vision without the help of our incredible volunteers.

From digital volunteers who monitor our support groups, to event volunteers who help as-and-when, to the folks who know the restorative power of a blether, we couldn’t achieve what we have achieved so far without our volunteers. We have much more work to be done and we need your help!

You can make a considerable difference to people with lipoedema and help future generations by sharing your time, your kindness, and your experience. We know that your time is valuable, and there are many opportunities available whether you can offer an hour a week or a few.

When you become a volunteer, you can choose when and where you would like to donate your time. You will receive a full induction and training to suit your role, and you will always have a supervisory member of our team to support you.

Most of our volunteer roles can be done remotely from the comfort of your home, so if you’re thinking of volunteering, don’t hesitate! You can make a difference; together we can make a change.
